IHOP serves up Halloween treat for children

The International House of Pancakes restaurant in Grand Junction will once again serve up a Halloween treat for children — scary face pancakes.

Scary face pancakes will be available on the children’s menu through October. Free scary face pancakes will be served to children 12 and under on Oct. 31.

A scary face pancake starts with a buttermilk pancake, a whipped cream mouth and strawberry nose. Children can complete the decorations with two mini Oreo cookies for eyes and candy corn for teeth.

The IHOP restaurant will serve up another seasonal item with pumpkin pancakes.
