IHOP to celebrate National Pancake Day with fund-raiser for children’s charity

The International House of Pancakes restaurant in Grand Junction will serve up free short stacks of buttermilk pancakes as part of a national campaign to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network.

The event is planned for 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. March 1, National Pancake Day. For every short stack of pancakes, IHOP guests are asked to make a donation to the Children’s Miracle Network. In Grand Junction, donations will go to Children’s Miracle Network programs at Children’s Hospital.

In 2010, IHOP restaurants served a total of 4 million free pancakes and guests donated more than $2.1 million.

In Grand Junction, IHOP is located at 2420 U.S. Highway 6 & 50. For more information, call 248-9559.
