A Grand Junction investment firm has pledged donations to Two Rivers Chautauqua as part of an effort to promote an event featuring re-enactments of historic personalities.
May-Investments will donate $3 to Two Rivers Chautauqua for every person who “likes” the event on its Facebook page before Sept. 1.
“This is a way for us to support Chautauqua while at the same time building a Facebook audience to help promote it,” said Doug May, owner and chief investment officer of May-Investments.
May said he hopes at least 1,000 people sign up to “like” Two Rivers Chautauqua before the deadline.
