Kannah Creek Brewing Co. has opened a third Grand Valley location in its new restaurant in Fruita.
The restaurant, called Kannah Creek Brewing Co. West, is located in the Fruita Southside Marketplace at 456 Kokopelli Blvd. The operation is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
The restaurant offers a modern fusion menu with more than 40 items. The fare includes grass-fed and hormone- and antibiotic-free meats and homemade bread and buns made with the same grains used to brew Kannah Creek breads. The restaurant serves 12 Kannah Creek Brewing Co. beers on tap as well as operates a full-service bar.
“After a couple of weeks of super hard work and dedication, we’re finally ready to go.” said Tosha Dixon, regional restaurant manager. “We are so thankful for the support of this amazing community, and we are ready to show Fruita what we have to offer.”
Kannah Creek opened in 2005 in a building that previously housed a buffet restaurant. Kannah Creek initially operated a brewpub and restaurant. The operation subsequently expanded when the Edgewater Brewery opened in 2013 along the Riverside Parkway south of downtown Grand Junction. The facility bottles beers distributed throughout Colorado and also includes a restaurant.
