Kannah Creek Brewing Company is closing its doors for good on Saturday, Oct. 24, ending a 21-year run in Grand Junction. It announced the closing Oct. 2 on Facebook and acknowledged it on the homepage of its website, www.kannahcreekbrewingco.com. And it announced it with a large sign on its building as seen in this photo.
Kannah Creek Brewing Company General Manager Andrew West told The Business Times on Oct. 2 that the final day will be a Saturday, and “we’ll have some live music on the patio. We’re gonna do a bunch of giveaways. We’re doing $5 beers, trying to just get rid of all the inventory. We’re actually having another beer that’s coming out (this week). We’ll do a specialty beer for that and go out with a bang.” West added Oct. 24 is the anniversary of the day the brewery originally opened. Photo by Brandon Leuallen.
