Associates with Keller Williams Colorado West Realty in Grand Junction joined in a community service initiative organized by the real estate franchise.
Associates volunteered at La Villa Grande, Larchwood Inn and Mesa Manor residential care facilities in Grand Junction, passing out cookies and silk flowers, leading sing-alongs and visiting with residents.
The effort was part of RED Day — an acronym for Renew, Energize and Donate.
“RED Day just happens to be a one-day expression of the constant state of the Keller Williams culture,” said Kathy Rehberg, chairwoman of KW Cares at Keller Williams Colorado West Realty. “This year, we touched 255 seniors, many who are living with dementia and Alzheirmer’s disease, and made their day a little brighter.”
Jessica Rodas, activity director at Larchwood Inn, said she appreciated the effort. “We greatly enjoyed that the residents were able to interact, sing and engage with the agents from Keller Williams.”
Keller Williams operates more than 800 offices with a total of 157,000 associates. In Grand Junction, Keller Williams Colorado West Realty operates offices at 2474 Patterson Road.
