Kiwanis Club elects officers and board members

Kevin Price, a financial advisor who operates Insight Financial Solutions in Grand Junction, has been elected president of the Grand Junction Kiwanis Club.

Price also was honored as Kiwanian of the Year in 2014.

Club officers for the 2017-2018 fiscal year also include: Sue Kiser, president-elect; Chris Howard, secretary; Alan Watkins, treasurer; and Rick Tuma, foundation chair. Stewart Cruickshank serves as past president.

Club board members for the coming year are: Patty Anderson, Rob Burkey, Cori Elam, Lindsay Gray, John Hildebrand, Brad Krebill, Mike Moore, Nathan Rhodes and Sheryl Violett.

A worldwide service organization operating in more than 80 countries, Kiwanis focuses on projects that benefit children. The Kiwanis Club of Grand Junction recently contributed $39,000 to Mesa County organizations that help children, money raised at an annual pancake day. The Kiwanis Club also awards scholarships to local high school seniors and students at Colorado Mesa University.
