Cori Elam, office manager at Asphalt Specialties and Supplies, has been inducted as president of the Kiwanis Club of Grand Junction board of directors.
Erick Field, a financial advisor with Edward Jones, was inducted as president-elect. Joe Kubly, president of the Grand Junction Rockies, was inducted as vice president. Chris Howard serves as secretary and Patty Harbert as treasurer.
The club board also includes Russ Adsit, Jason Fitch, Marsha Harbert, Toni Heiden-Moran, Carrie Konakis, Bill Rockwood and Robin Stevens.
Part of a worldwide service organization, Kiwanis Club of Grand Junction raises funds for local charities, college scholarships and playground equipment for children. The club recently awarded a total of $25,000 to the Center for Enriched Communications, Harmony Acres Equestrian Center, HopeWest, Kids Aid Backpack Program and Special Olympics.
