Dillon Robertson has joined Colorado West Land Trust based in Grand Junction as development and communications associate.
Robertson will assist Mary Hughes, development director, with communications, fund-raising and events.
“I look forward to working with the entire community to promote land conservation and the wonderful array of outdoor opportunities that drew my wife and me to the Grand Valley,” Robertson said.
Robertson worked two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in rural Panama. He holds a master’s degree from Cornell University, where he researched collaborative land use strategies and the communication of planning.
“We are excited to welcome Dillon to the land trust,” Hughes said. “He brings to the job a strong commitment to conservation and a love of Western Colorado landscapes.”
The Colorado West Land Trust has conserved a total of more than 120,000 acres in six Western Slope counties. For more information, visit https://cowestlandtrust.org.
