Mesa County Libraries has scheduled a presentation on saving money on groceries while buying healthy foods.
The presentation, titled Cooking Matters, is set for 9:30 a.m. June 29 at the central library located at Fifth Street and Grand Avenue in downtown Grand Junction.
A virtual grocery store tour will show participants how to buy fruits and vegetables, find bargains, read food labels and ultimately eat healthy on a budget. Cooking Matters has a 20-year history of helping low-income families develop and maintain healthier eating habits.
The presentation is open to adults at no charge.
