The City of Grand Junction has scheduled a free training class for liquor licensees, their managers and employees.
The class is set for 11 a.m. Aug. 6 at the City Hall Auditorium at 250 N, Fifth St.
Meghan Woodland, a technician with the Grand Junction Police Department, will help liquor licensees protect themselves and their customers. The training will cover server responsibilities, including identification checking and enforcement, recognizing signs of intoxication and guarding against over-serving customers.
Participants who stay for the class and score a 70 percent or better on a post-class test will receive certifications of completion for the state-certified training.
To register for or obtain more information about the class, call 244-1509 or send an email to email@example.com.
