Liquor store named retailer of the year

Fisher’s Liquor Barn in Grand Junction has earned national recognition for its operations.

Fisher’s Liquor Barn was named retailer of the year by Beverage Dynamics, a trade publication for alcohol beverage retailers.

“We are always striving to be the best we can be,” said Brandi Pollock, owner of Fisher’s Liquor Barn. “Customer service is paramount to us, and that means offering innovative ways to our customers to shop Fisher’s Liquor Barn. We are thrilled to be recognized for our hard work and dedication.”

Jeremy Nedelka, editor of Beverage Dynamics, said Pollock and Fisher’s Liquor Barn deserve the recognition. “They join some of the best and brightest in the industry.”

The award was presented during an alcohol beverage retailers conference in Denver. 

Winners are selected to represent a cross-section of the alcohol beverage retail industry. Owners take pride in their stores, care about their customers and employees and remain involved in the community. Fisher’s Liquor Barn is featured in the May and June issue of the magazine. Located in a 26,000-square- feet building at 2438 Patterson Road, Fisher’s Liquor Barn operates the largest liquor store in the region and supports
25 full-time employees, 30 part-time employees and eight managers. The store offers online shopping, curb-side pickup, delivery and bartending services.
