A company that operates convenience stores and other travel facilities across Western Colorado has opened a convenience store, quick-service Italian restaurant and fuel station in Glenwood Springs.
Loco has opened the store and Fazoli’s Italian Restaurant near exit 114 off Interstate Highway 70.
The facility employs 35 people and is expected to generate more than $200,000 annually in state and local taxes as well as more than $1 million annually in state and federal fuel taxes.
The convenience store offers food, beverages and a variety of other items. The Fazoli’s Restaurant offers such traditional Italian fare as fettuccine alfredo, lasagna and spaghetti as well as Italian sandwiches. The restaurant includes a drive-through window.
The new Glenwood Springs facility also includes 10 gasoline fueling lanes and four diesel fueling lanes. A bulk diesel exhaust fluid filling dispenser offers savings to customers driving new model diesel-powered vehicles.
In business for more than 40 years, Loco operates seven convenience stores throughout Western Colorado as well as a Travel Stop in Fruita.
