A Grand Junction manufacturer has earned certification for its quality management system.
Capco received the International Organization for Standardization 9001:2015 Management System certificate.
“Achieving ISO certification is an exciting step for both Capco and our customers,” said Cordell Bennigson, chief executive officer of the company. “We have always maintained an intense focus on quality and held ourselves to processes that were ISO compliant. This award further ensures for our customers that our practices are in line with world-class quality standards.”
ISO certification is based on such quality management principles as customer focus, a process approach and systems for review and continual improvement. The goal is to ensure customers receive consistently high-quality products and services through the application of industry best practices for quality management controls and systems.
ISO certification aligns with the Capco operational mission statement, Bennigson said, in striving to exceed customer expectations for quality, timely delivery and value while training and encouraging team members to make decisions that improve the company and staff.
Capco received the certification from Orion Registrar, a Denver-based management system and product certification registrar and certification body.
