A Grand Junction-based marketing agency has entered into a new partnership to expand services to include Web site design and development, search engine optimization and smartphone applications.
The Kala Agency has entered a partnership with 10 Designs, a California-based company whose clients include such international corporations as GoPro, Oakley and Red Bull as well as the Denver Broncos National Football League franchise.
“To be able to offer world-class Web site and digital strategy services is incredible,” said Jennifer Hobbs, owner and brand strategist with the Kala Agency.
“Our team has worked with some of the biggest names you will find. The breadth and depth of knowledge is unparalleled,” Hobbs added. “I’m excited to be able to make this caliber of experience available. But the fact we’re keeping prices affordable for clients is what really excites me.”
With the addition of digital services, the Kala Agency offers the full range of services of a marketing agency. Hobbs said that means clients don’t have to work with multiple agencies or vendors, and that marketing efforts offer a cohesive look.
The goal in working with every client, Hobbs said, is to become an extension of that business and provide any services they need.
“While everyone on the team has worked with or for multi-billion companies, each one of us is a small business owner ourselves,” Hobbs said. “We understand what goes into marketing and branding a business and, ultimately, we realize the costs that are involved. That is why we will never try to sell our clients on mediums or strategies they don’t need or won’t achieve the results.”
Hobbs launched the Kala Agency earlier this year. She brings to her venture 13 years of experience in graphic design, marketing, public relations and social media. She’s held marketing and communications positions with Colorado Mesa University, the Denver Broncos, Mesa Mall and Rocky Mountain Health Plans.
Hobbs holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from CMU and a master’s degree in global strategic communications from the University of Florida.
Hobbs said she named her agency after kala, the Hawaiian concept that there are no limits, only possibilities.
