The Mesa County Workforce Center in Grand Junction has scheduled its annual JobFest Job Fair for Sept. 27.
The fair is set for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the center, 512 29 1/2 Road. The event will be open to veterans only from 9 to 9:30.
“The workforce center has listened to the needs of the business community, and we expect the event to be highly successful,” said Celina Kirnberger, business services manager at the Mesa County Workforce Center. “The workforce business center will be filled with more than 30 actively hiring employers. These will be employers from a variety of sectors, including manufacturing, transportation, health care, hospitality, food service and more.”
Last year, the job fair attracted more than 600 participants.
