Mesa State hall renamed in honor of bank support

A Mesa State College classroom has been renamed to recognize the support the college has received from Wells Fargo.

Room 212 in the Academic Classroom Building at Mesa State has been renamed the Wells Fargo Lecture Hall.

“Through the years, Wells Fargo has generously supported numerous scholarships, academic programs and capital projects on the campus of Mesa State College,” said Mesa State President Tim Foster. “Wells Fargo’s partnership with Mesa State has made the difference in the lives of many students and that is why we are naming the Wells Fargo Lecture Hall in honor of all they’ve done.”

“Wells Fargo is proud to have a Mesa State lecture hall bearing its name,” said Steve Irion, Wells Fargo community bank president for the Grand Junction and Clifton markets. “We are pleased to have been involved in helping this institution of higher education grow and evolve just as we are delighted to be an active partner in the community.”
