Mortgage firm adds to Grand Junction operation

Jill Derrieux, Minde Harper and Terrie Higgins have joined Guild Mortgage as loan officers. Leah Solberg has joined the Grand Junction branch as a loan assistant.

“This is a huge addition to our team,” said Buzz Moore, business development manager. “The experience and knowledge these four ladies bring are valuable.”

Derrieux brings to her new duties 18 years of experience in the banking industry. She’s holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration. Derrieux served as a board member for Habitat for Humanity of Mesa County and just completed a term as president of the Mesa State College Alumni Association board of directors.

Harper draws on 13 years of experience as a mortgage originator. She also has worked as a processor, underwriter and manager. She works with a variety of loan types.

Higgins has more than 35 years of experience in the banking and mortgage industry and has been recognized as a top performer in local markets. She is certified in handling Energy Star loans.

Solberg has thee years of experience. She holds an associate’s degree and is working on a bachelor’s degree in business and Web development.
