Moving on to bigger and better things

The issue of the Business Times includes not one, but two, stories about Grand Valley enterprises moving on to bigger and, hopefully, better things.

The cover story reports on the moving efforts of Grand Junction Subaru, which soon will relocate from its comparatively cramped quarters along U.S. Highway  6 & 50 into a brand new and much larger location at the intersection of 24 and F 1/2 roads. In the process, owner Ron Bubar also has opened a new Volkswagen dealership.

The Encore Shoppe consignment store in Grand Junction soon will move as well from its location on Grand Avenue to a former City Market grocery store on First Street. The new location offers far more room not only for merchandise, but also parking.

Congratulations to these businesses and all the other expanding ventures in the Grand Valley for their investments in providing better products and service and at the same time contributing to the local economy. Well done.
