An open house is scheduled at a Grand Junction wedding and event venue under new ownership.

The event is set for 2 to 5 p.m. May 4 at Mountain View Farm, located at 3165 B 1/2 Road.

The celebration will include complimentary food and desserts, a DJ, a bump and jump for children, a whimsical photo booth and the opportunity to meet alpacas and a miniature cow. Participants also can explore wedding displays.

Identical twin sisters Felicia Baker and Jessica Sander-Cederlof purchased the venue with the support of their parents, Leonard and Michelle Selby.

The two sisters both were married at Mountain View Farm two months apart.

“We are beyond excited to embark on this journey of owning and operating Mountain View Farm,” Baker said. “This venue holds a special place in our hearts, and we cannot wait to share its beauty and charm with couples looking to create unforgettable memories on their special day.”

In addition to weddings, Mountain View Farm offers a venue for business meetings as well as baby showers, birthday parties, holiday parties and other events.
