An open house will offer information about proposed improvements to Horizon Drive in Grand Junction.

The Horizon Drive Business Improvement District has scheduled the event for 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 21 at the Grand Vista Hotel, 2790 Crossroads Blvd.

The open house will offer information about newly updated plans and drawings for improvements to Horizon Drive along a 1.5-mile stretch between G and H roads. Information also is available online at the website located at www.horizodrivedistrict.com.

Plans for the improvements came out of the results of a survey of businesses along Horizon Drive that found the appearance of the area has the greatest effect on business, and improved traffic flow and safety also should be addressed.
