Dr. Louis Stryker, a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon, has joined Community Hospital in Grand Junction.
Stryker joins the newly formed Community Orthopedic Group. He performs a variety of hip and knee replacement surgeries and also offers nonsurgical options for hip and knee disorders.
Stryker brings to the practice five years of experience in total joint replacement. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston; completed his internship at the Mayo Clinic Department of Orthopedic Surgery in Rochester, Minn.; and completed his fellowship at the OrthoCarolina Hip and Knee Center in Charlotte, N.C.

Community Hospital joined with Western Orthopedics and Sports Medicine and Western Colorado Spine to form Community Orthopedic Group. The group includes eight orthopedic surgeons, a sports medicine physician and podiatrist.
