Jennifer Taylor of Palisade was among those who received honorable mentions for their entries in an annual competition for photography depicting the agriculture industry in Colorado.

The Colorado Department of Agriculture conducts the contest and uses the winning photos in communications promoting the industry. 

Brad Hensley of Longmont placed first with a photo he took in Weld County showing a herd of grazing cattle at sunset with a smoke plume rising from a wildfire.
