The Wine Country Inn in Palisade will host another winning contestant from “The Price is Right” television game show.

CBS, the television network that broadcasts “The Price is Right,” asked the Wine Country Inn to participate in the program after the hotel offered a six-night stay package as a prize in 2012.

The episode featuring the prize is scheduled to air Jan. 1 on KREX, the CBS affiliate in Grand Junction.

“Naturally, we are looking forward to hosting another winner from the show,” said Joe Scanlon, general manager of the Wine Country Inn. “Last year’s contestant, Terry Riddell, and her husband, Damon, were delightful guests. They had such a good time with us, visiting the wineries and growers in Palisade, they were looking for an excuse to come back. We formed some real friendships.”

In addition to six nights of lodging, the prize package once again includes transportation from Absolute Limousine Service, deluxe breakfasts and daily wine tastings.

“We  try to go the extra mile to show our guests an unforgettable experience, so I’m sure our staff will go all out to welcome our next ‘The Price is Right’ winner, to help them relax in our laid-back atmosphere and to see that they enjoy the hospitality that our Palisade neighbors always offer,” Scanlon said.
