Plumbing business collects food for holiday drive

Peterson Plumbing in Grand Junction collected an estimated six to eight months worth of food during a holiday drive for families served by Hope of the Grand Valley.

Peterson Plumbing offered $2 coupons for services up to a total of $40 for donations of nonperhishable food. The company also conducted a fill-the-truck event at the City Market store in Fruita and collected donations at its offices at 570 S. Westgate Drive.

Hope of the Grand Valley offers assistance to low-income families that are employed and don’t receive government benefits.
