Nina Anderson, a northwestern Colorado native, is the owner of the local Express Employment Professionals office. As a non-traditional student she completed her bachelor’s degree in human resources through Regis University while working full time and raising a young family. Her human resources experience spans many industries including structural and geotechnical construction, retail, manufacturing, and real estate. Anderson opened the Grand Junction office in April 2007 where her mission is to help as many good companies as possible find good people by helping as many people as possible find good companies.
Anderson contributes her success largely to finding a company that aligns so well with her personal purpose and mission as well as one that allows her to utilize her professional passion. “Everyone benefits when you absolutely love what you do every day!” exclaims Anderson. Anderson further believes the strong work ethic she gained growing up on a farm contributes to her success. “We learned to finish the chores before all else and to bail the hay while the weather permitted,” says Anderson. She also cites the work ethic of three influential people in her life who modeled great leadership in their personal and professional endeavors by showing unconditional support to others, giving everything your best, remembering to be reflective of your performance, and never make assumptions.
Anderson is delighted to make the transition of practicing human resources in a company to practicing human resources in a community. “It is my personal mission to be a positive inspiration for people whose paths I cross not only through Express Employment, but in every aspect of my life in our community,” says Anderson.
