Powderhorn Mountain Resort has donated $1,000 each to Mesa County Partners and Colorado Discovery Ability, a portion of lift ticket sales on opening day.
“As part of our 45th anniversary celebration, we made the decision to support two charities that are ingrained in the community and throughout the Grand Valley. Partners and the CDA were a natural fit,” said Daren Cole, general manager at Powderhorn.
Mesa County Partners works with at-risk and disadvantaged youth. The CDA offers outdoor activities for people with disabilities, including a skiing program at Powderhorn.
