Proposals are sought for an upcoming event promoting entrepreneurial endeavors in Western Colorado.
Ideas for panels, workshops, tours and other events at the 2020 Techstars Startup Week West Slope will be accepted through Feb. 28. Proposals should be submitted using an online form available at https://westslopestartupweek.com. An organizing team will make selections by early April.
The 2020 Techstars Startup Week West Slope is scheduled for June 1 to 5.
“Startup Week is a meeting of entrepreneurial minds no matter your industry or experience,” said Mara Hardy, business development manager for the Grand Junction Economic Partnership and a member of the Startup Week West Slope organizing team. “This is about more than tech. It’s a celebration of how we do business on the Western Slope. We encourage everyone in the community to participate and hope you will consider submitting an idea for a session.”
For the first two days of Startup Week, events will take place in cities across Western Colorado. Startup Week will continue June 3 to 5 in Grand Junction.
Program tracks will offer presentations related to agriculture, capital, communications and technology. What are billed as “toolbox” sessions will offer smaller interactive workshops that address fundamental topics and skills building. A fun track will offer social events and outdoor activities.
In addition to proposals, volunteers and sponsors also are needed for Techstars Startup Week West Slope.
