Dr. Mark Ramsey, a board-certified psychiatrist, has joined Mind Springs Health and the staff at the West Springs Hospital in Grand Junction.
A director of nursing and three advanced practice psychiatric nurses also have joined the Grand Junction treatment team.

Ramsey returns to Grand Junction after working eight years in Mississippi. He brings to his new duties experience as an attending psychiatrist as St. Mary’s Hospital as well as the treatment of mood disorders, post-traumatic stress and neuropsychiatric conditions.
Randy Nimmo is the new director of nursing at West Springs Hospital. He brings to his position 30 years of experience as a health care administrator and nurse educator, most recently as program director at the Artesia General Hospital in New Mexico.
Liz Smith and Donnie Tietsema, both advanced practice psychiatric nurses from Ann Arbor, Mich., will provide outpatient therapy to adults and families. Nicole Solk, an advanced practice psychiatric nurse from New Fairfield, Conn, will handle outpatient and inpatient responsibilities.
