Public TV network names West Slope coordinator

Alex Forsett has been named the Western Slope coordinator for Rocky Mountain Public Broadcasting Service.

Forsett will lead underwriting and donation activities for the public television station as well as plan and execute events. That includes the Kids Fun Fest, the largest free event for children on the Western Slope. Forsett also will serve as the point of contact for KRMJ in Grand Junction.

Forsett recently graduated from Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He served as manager of a free taxi service for CMU students and started a skiing and snowboarding club. He also served as vice president of the student government.
