The Quality Inn in Grand Junction has reinstituted room service to deliver food to guests.
“We’re going to do our best to make their travel as pleasant as it can be under the circumstances. That’s the least we can do,” said Manager Rick Martindale.
Guests call the front desk to place their orders. The kitchen staff cooks the food and assembles orders on room service carts or trays. An employee delivers the cart or tray, knocks on the door and then steps away to let guests retrieve their food.
