Radio broadcasting company raises money for hurricane relief

MBC Grand Broadcasting and its family of radio stations, including stations in Grand Junction, is raising money for hurricane relief efforts.

MBC Grand hosted a concert at the Las Colonias Park amphitheater in Grand Junction featuring Starship. Proceeds from ticket sales went to the Samaritan’s Purse to provide clothing, food and shelter to people who’ve suffered from natural disasters, war and poverty.

“We are so proud and excited that our community has come together to help those in need,” said Dave Beck, general manager. “We are amazed that we were able to raise $14,132 for the cause.”

MBC Grand is the parent company of 1100 KNZZ, 96.1 KSTR, 93.1 Magic, 95.5 The Monkey, 92.3 The Moose, 103.9 The Planet, 1340 The Team and 100.7 The Vault.
