Joe Reed, a Grand Junction real estate agent who’s also been active in the community, has been named chairman of the Western Slope Division of March of Dimes.
“March of Dimes will celebrate its 75th anniversary this year, and it is important for our community to come together an support it,” Reed said. “My vision is to expand the Western Slope March of Dimes through creative events and volunteer leadership opportunities.”
Prior to becoming chairman, Reed served the March of Dimes board as nominating chairman.
“Joe has been a driving force for us over the past year as the nominating chair, bringing on new key leaders and revenue opportunities. Joe’s vision for growth and expansion of our division will propel us into 2013 and beyond,” said Terri Jones, division director.
Reed has worked as a real estate agent for eight years and now leads a team at RE/MAX 4000. He’s a member of the RE/MAX 100 Percent Club. He’s earned the Real Estate Online Marketing Award of Excellence from Realtor.com as well as the Zillow All-Star Badge.
