Nathan Poirier has joined Bray Real Estate in Grand Junction.

Scott Hayduk, a broker associate with the firm, has earned designation as a Certified Residential Specialist.Hayduk and Shelby Kendall have been inducted into the Bray Circle of Excellence.

Michael Burkhard, sales manager at Bray Real Estate, attended a Council of Residential Specialists event in Florida.

Poirier brings to his new duties experience in construction and remodeling as well as irrigation sales.

“It’s great to have Nathan as part of our family, and I know his professionalism and positive energy will allow him to do well in this business,” said Robert Bray, chief executive officer of Bray Real Estate.

Hayduk earned the CRS designation from the Council or Residential Specialists, an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors. Less than 3 percent of Realtors nationwide have earned the designation. Hayduk completed training and demonstrated achievement in residential real estate sales.

“In our challenging marketplace, agents need all the tools they can access to serve their clients’ best interests,” Hayduk said.

The Bray Circle of Excellence honors agents who’ve worked at the firm for at least 10 years and sold more than $60 million worth of real estate. “Both Scott and Shelby embody the true essence of commitment to this company and always do the best for each and every one of their clients,” Bray said. “We are thrilled to have Scott and Shelby as part of this elite group of professionals.”

Burkhard attended the CRS Sell-a-bration in Orlando, an event that included more than 30 educational sessions as well as various networking opportunities. Burkhard said he brought back to Bray Real Estate information he shared with other agents.

“Sell-a-bration was a great opportunity to talk business with hundreds of top-performing agents from around the world and allow me to spend some time with the international group from Spain and Italy,” Burkhard said. “The most amazing takeaway is that our real estate industry is no longer just local. It is global, and understanding the challenges and opportunities in that is key to being a successful local agent.”
