Coldwell Banker Distinctive Properties and the Roice-Hurst Humane Society will join in a national pet adoption campaign.
The Homes for Dogs event is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 28 at Sherwood Park at 200 Glenwood Ave. in Grand Junction.
“We are lucky enough to help people in the community find new homes every day. Now, we get to extend that service to pets in need. It’s a win-win,” said Todd Conklin, chief executive officer of Coldwell Banker Distinctive Properties.
The event is part of a five-year campaign launched by Coldwell Banker Real Estate and Adopt-a-Pet.com, a nonprofit pet adoption website.
