Updater offers a range of services designed to streamline moving. Users can update account records, including those for subscriptions, alumni associations and charities. Updater also files mail forwarding forms and helps users transfer utilities and set up in-home installations. Digital moving announcements are sent to family members and friends.

In addition, Updater helps users schedule up to three in-home estimates with approved moving companies and provides special offers and discounts on services and products, including moving, cleaning and boxes.
