Michael Burkhard, a Realtor from Grand Junction, has become a Sterling Presidents Circle major investor and member of the Colorado Association of Realtors Realtors Political Action Committee Hall of Fame.
Burkhard has been a member of the National Association of Realtors since 2003 and supported the RPAC for 14 years. “I support RPAC because doing so is important to my profession and to protect homeownership,” he said.
The RPAC, a national bipartisan group, advocates to protect the real estate industry and homeownership. The group promotes the election of candidates that support the interests of the real estate industry; real estate professionals; and those who buy, sell and invest in real estate.
The RPAC has worked with the U.S. Department of the Treasury and Internal Revenue Service to implement new tax laws and also worked to reauthorize the national flood insurance program and preserve net neutrality.
