Registration remains open for a free business training course for child care providers.

The course is scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Small Business Development Center at the Business Incubator Center, 2591 Legacy Way in Grand Junction. Dinner will be provided,

The Leading Edge course for child care providers will offer information about managing child care businesses to licensed providers and those considering starting ventures. Participants will earn three professional development hours through the Professional Development Information Systems.

The course is an effort of the Colorado Small Business Development Center network, Mesa County Partnership for Children and Families, Colorado Department of Early Childhood and Office of Economic Development and International Trade.
