Rockslide Restaurant and Brewery recently marked its 20th year in business in downtown Grand Junction.
The celebration included 94 cent pints of beer, favorite dishes sold for 1994 prices and samples of an anniversary microbrew dubbed Platinum Blonde.
“We were thrilled with the number of people who came to the party and helped us celebrate. This community’s support never ceases to amaze us,” said Scott Howard, co-owner along with Michael Bell of Rockslide Restaurant and Brewery.
“It was a great event,” Bell added. “It was wonderful to see so many faces, both old and new. We can’t wait to see what the next 20 years will bring.”
Representatives of the Grand Junction Downtown Development Authority also were on hand to recognize the Rockslide Restaurant and Brewery for its role in promoting the downtown.
“The Rockslide is an anchor of Main Street and helped lead the emergence of downtown as a dynamic entertainment and dining district. The Rockslide’s success and impact can be measured in many ways,” said Jodi Coleman-Nirenberg, chairwoman of the DDA and Downtown Business Improvement District.
