The Center for Independence is participating in a fund-raising program with Rib City Grill and Alpine Bank.

For every $10 customers spend at Rib City Grill locations in Western Colorado, excluding tax and gratuity, they will receive a token.

People can then take tokens to the Center for Independence at 740 Gunnison Ave. in Grand Junction or 300 N. Cascade C 10 in Montrose.

The center receives 50 cents for each token.

Funding supports vocational training, recreational activities and services for seniors and for people with disabilities.
