Kannah Creek Brewing Co. has scheduled a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new restaurant in Fruita.
The event is set for 10 a.m. Aug. 26 at Kannah Creek West, located in the Fruita Southside Marketplace at 456 Kokopelli Blvd.
The restaurant opened May 25 and offers a modern fusion menu with more than 40 items. The fare includes grass-fed and hormone- and antibiotic-free meats and homemade bread and buns made with the same grains used to brew Kannah Creek breads. The restaurant serves 11 Kannah Creek Brewing Co. beers on tap as well as operates a full-service bar.
“We are still overwhelmed with the amount of support from the Fruita community since opening our doors,” said Tosha Dixon, operations manager for Kannah Creek Brewing. “We are excited to continue to add to this community and are looking forward to the future.”
The restaurant is the third operation for the company, but the first outside Grand Junction. Kannah Creek opened a restaurant and brewpub in Grand Junction in 2005 and Edgewater Brewery in 2013. That facility bottles beers distributed throughout Colorado and also includes a restaurant.
Kannah Creek West is open for 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. For more information, visit www.kannahcreekbrewingco.com/kannah-west.
