The second annual Run for Rivers will take place Nov. 7 at 10 a.m. along the scenic Riverfront Trail in Grand Junction. This family-friendly fundraiser features a 5K run/walk and a 1K Fun Run for kids, alongside popular family activities, including a nature scavenger hunt and a hands-on art project.
The run will start and finish at the Confluence Center of Colorado, 2596 Dos Rios Drive in Grand Junction, situated at the confluence of the Colorado and Gunnison Rivers in the Dos Rios area near downtown Grand Junction.
“This event has become a wonderful fall tradition for runners, walkers and families to enjoy our beautiful riverfront trails while supporting the crucial work happening at the Confluence Center,” said Jenn Moore, executive director of EUREKA! McConnell Science Museum.
