A Grand Junction waste removal business is ranked among the top 250 private companies in Colorado in the latest listing compiled by a business magazine.
Rocky Mountain Sanitation is included among the top 250 private companies in a ranking compiled by ColoradoBiz magazine based on self-reported revenues for 2009. Rocky Mountain Sanitation also made the list last year.
“Being listed in the ColoradoBiz Top 250 Private Companies in Colorado is an important recognition of our strong dedication to our clients and the service we provide,” said Lisa Mullen, owner of Rocky Mountain Sanitation. “We work hard every day for our customers and it shows.”
Mike Taylor, managing editor of ColoradoBiz, said the list offers one of the most comprehensive rankings in the state. “With the number of companies that submitted, to have made the top 250 list is impressive.”
Rocky Mountain Sanitation also ranked 4,873rd in the 2010 Inc. magazine listing of the 5,000 fastest-growing privately held companies in the country. Rocky Mountain Sanitation has made the list four consecutive years.
Lisa and Loren Mullen founded Rocky Mountain Sanitation in 1997 with two trucks and one employee. Today, the company serves a total of more than 10,000 commercial and residential customers with 16 trucks and 20 employees. Earlier this year, the company relocated to a new, 6,0000-square foot office and shop facility located on more than 4 acres of land along 23 Road.
