A man who has worked for the U.S. Small Business Administration for 17 years has been named director of the agency’s district office in Colorado, Edward Cadena, will oversee SBA loan guarantee, counseling and contracting services.
Cadena served as director of the SBA Nevada District Office for four years. He previously served as acting district director of the Lubbock, Texas, and Albuquerque, N.M., district offices. Prior to joining the SBA, he worked a total of 18 years with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. and Resolution Trust Corp.
“I’m happy to be back in Colorado, and I look forward to strengthening an already healthy Colorado economy by getting more capital into the hands of small business owners and providing broader assistance for firms that want to do business with the federal government,” he said.
