Grande River Vineyards has joined with the Mesa County Libraries Foundation to produce a specially branded wine to raise money for the foundation.

A free launch party for the wine, branded Well Read, is set for 5:30 p.m. May 17 at Grande River Vineyards, located at 787 N. Elberta Ave. in Palisade. Bottles of Well Read will be available from Grande River Vineyards starting May 17. A portion of the sales of each bottle will go to the foundation, which supports library projects and events.

“The wine will serve as a fun and special conversation starter about the importance of the library to the community,” said Jane Fine Foster, president of the Mesa County Libraries Foundation.
