Jennifer Stoll, executive director of the Greater Grand Junction Sports Commission, has been recognized for her efforts in the sports tourism industry.
Stoll is included in an annual feature in Connect Sports honoring what the magazine calls “Game Changers.” The magazine collects nominations from across the country and selects “Game Changers” based on references, industry involvement and other factors.
Stoll will be among those honored at an upcoming event in Salt Lake City and will be included in coverage in the fall issue of Connect Sports.
Stoll was recognized for her role in establishing the Greater Grand Junction Sports Commission, a collaborative effort of Colorado Mesa University, Mesa County, the cities of Grand Junction and Fruita and town of Palisade to promote sports events that contribute to the Grand Valley economy. Stoll combines her professional experience with academic work and expects to soon complete work on her doctoral degree in sports management.
