Dr. Brian Davidson has joined St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction as vice president of medical affairs and chief medical officer.
“Dr. Davidson is an experienced leader, and St. Mary’s leadership welcomes his fresh outlook and opinions,” said Mike McBride, president and chief executive officer of the hospital.
Davidson, a board-certified anesthesiologist, brings to his duties experience as a clinician and administrator at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora. He attended medical school at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. He also holds a master’s degree in business and health care administration and completed a graduate program in health care quality and patient safety at Regis University in Denver.
His wife, Dr. Amy Gagnon, is a perinatologist and will join maternal and fetal medicine services at St. Mary’s Hospital in September, McBride said.
