Staffing service owner earns professional designation

Nina Anderson, owner of the Express Employment Professionals franchise in Grand Junction, has earned designation as a Certified Staffing Professional.

The American Staffing Association offers the designation to professionals who complete an in-depth, self-study course and pass an examination on labor and employment law principles and ethical practices.

“Franchisees like Anderson demonstrate the lifelong learning part of our culture at Express,” said Robert Funk, founder and chief executive officer of Express Employment Professionals. “This comes from franchisees and staff members of franchise offices asking for more opportunities to learn because it improves our ability to service our clients and associates.”

Anderson launched the Express Employment Professionals office in Grand Junction in 2006 and offers temporary help and direct hire services in a variety of industry sectors. She holds an undergraduate degree in human resources from Regis University. She serves as a member of the Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
