The Express Employment Professionals staffing service in Grand Junction has scheduled a day-long seminar addressing human resource management issues.
The event will feature Jack Smalley, director of HR learning and development for Express Employment Professionals.
“This will be Jack’s third trip to Grand Junction, and each year we receive excellent feedback on the real world information Smalley shares with out attendees,” said Nina Anderson, owner of the Express Employment Professionals franchise in Grand Junction.
The seminar is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 27 in Room 221 of the University Center on the Colorado Mesa University campus in Grand Junction. The event is open to Express Employment Professionals clients and local business leaders.
Presentations at the seminar will cover such topics as threats facing businesses, working with five generations in the workplace and meeting critical objectives to maximize human resource stock in a profit-driven culture.
Smalley provides HR training and consulting to the nearly 600 Express Employment Professionals offices in the United States and Canada. He’s designated as a Senior Professional in Human Resources.
