The Colorado Department of Agriculture offers an online guide to help holiday shoppers find everything from Christmas trees to gifts to ingredients for meals.
“Buying locally for the holidays is a great way to support Colorado producers as well as the state’s economy,” said John Salazar, state agricultural commissioner.
The Colorado Food and Agriculture Gift Guide lists companies that sell items ranging from fresh produce to gourmet gift baskets to meats. The Christmas tree list identifies locations where shoppers can find trees, including u-cut operations.
The guide is available online at the website located at www.coloradoagriculture.com.
